“This International Women’s Day, we wanted to celebrate the amazing contribution that women make to our local community – from volunteering at the local foodbankto distributing sanitary products for girls in schools or taking a stand against the unjust way in which the state pension age was changed. It was wonderful to have so many women come together and to collect so many donations that will continue to help other women both locally and further afield.”
