Press Release -Linda Grace Labour Party Candidate for Franklands Ward By-Election

Mid Sussex Constituency Labour Party is delighted to introduce Linda Grace as candidate for the Franklands Ward Town Council by-election in Haywards Heath on Thursday 19th October 2017.

Linda says, “I am excited at this opportunity to seek election to the Town Council. It’s time for change in Haywards Heath – having a council entirely run by the Conservative Party has led to poor decision making and lack of scrutiny on important local issues such as planning and protecting our environment. People in Franklands know that their views are rarely heeded by local councillors. I intend to change that and stand up for all who live in the ward.”

In endorsing Linda, the Labour Party recognise her undoubted talents and commitment to a vibrant local community. Greg Mountain, Chair of Haywards Heath branch added that Linda will bring great experience, from many years working in local authorities: “Linda knows the ward, knows Haywards Heath and Mid Sussex and the challenges we face in keeping Franklands as a great place to live. I also know that Linda will make sure that local issues and views are fully represented before the council makes decisions. Her commitment is to ensuring Franklands people are properly represented and their questions answered.”
